Connect to any Matrix homeserver with an access token.
Copy it the moment it appears. This platform shows the secret only once — if you lose it, you'll have to reset and start that step again.
1Step 1Make a bot account
Register a dedicated Matrix account for the agent and sign in with the Element client. Its homeserver is the server you logged into (e.g. https://matrix.org).

Click your profile icon (top-left) and choose “All settings”.
Step 3Copy the access token
Open “Help & About”, scroll to the bottom, expand “Access Token”, and copy it.
This access token grants full control of the bot account — never share it or post it publicly. If it leaks, log out of that session (or change the account's password) to invalidate it.

Pick Matrix and paste the homeserver URL and the access token.
What Blimp will ask for
- Homeserver URL — e.g. https://matrix.org
- Access token
Once you paste it into Blimp, that's the finish line — we verify the credential and put your agent live. Every agent runs isolated, with its own private memory — walled off from everyone else's. Idle agents cost nothing; you only pay for real conversations.
